Employment

I currently work at Thoughtworks in the UK where I have provided consultation for the FX Options team at Dresdner Kleinwort and, prior to that, Rightmove in Milton Keynes. Before moving to consultancy I worked for Barclays Capital for seven years covering a range of areas including Client Technology, Prime Brokerage, Stock Loan and Equity Finance. I have technical experience with Java, VB and Sybase, Crystal Clear and XP.

Achievements

I graduated with distinction from a part time MSc in Information Systems and have a previous Masters in Physics from Imperial College. I also (somehow) won the Rectors prize for Public Speaking (View Presentation Animation). My MSc project involved the development of a framework for experimenting with software evolution. I was also fortunate enough to get a paper accepted for the ‘International Workshop on Process Simulation’ at ICSE 2006 in Shanghai (View Paper).

Interests

I’m a keen snowboarder, surfer and downhill mountain biker.
